Hello and welcome to my temporary portfolio website.

I'm Felix Spanjaard, but I also go by my pseudonym Nonsens. Felix came into being in 1986, in Rotterdam. The name Nonsens came into being in the year 2006, when I was drawing some random weird stuff, which I love to do, and someone asked me what it was. I replied it was just 'nonsense'. Thus the name Nonsens. The style that developed (and still is developing) is heavily influenced by comics and cartoons I used to read as a child, graffiti and ancient art. At the moment this is resulting in a lot of free work on canvas, objects, or whatever is suitable for some Nonsens.

I started studying Illustration at the Willem de Kooning Academie in Rotterdam in 2007.
Besides illustrating and painting I like to make videos, animations and music.
